Tees Business co-editor Martin Walker talks about Resolution Media & Publishing’s latest new magazine, Tees Life…
Some people say the print industry is in decline – but we disagree.
The success of Tees Business, launched in February 2015, proves there’s still very much a demand for the printed publication.
So much so, in fact, that my Tees Business colleague Dave Allan and I have launched a new publishing company, called Resolution Media & Publishing.
Named after one of Captain James Cook’s famous ships, HMS Resolution, we have some exciting plans to launch other publications in the near future.
In fact, the second magazine we have in the pipeline already is a new lifestyle magazine for the Teesside region, Tees Life.
One of the main driving forces behind Tees Business was that we felt other regional B2B publications didn’t always give Teesside a fair crack.
And, having undertaken some market research again, we feel there’s another gap in the market for Teesside’s own dedicated lifestyle mag.
Set to launch in April, Tees Life will be delivered FREE to homes and businesses across Teesside including Wynyard, Eaglescliffe, Yarm, Ingleby Barwick, Wolviston, Hartburn, Nunthorpe, Marton and Guisborough.
With an initial circulation of 5,000 and readership of 15,000+, Tees Life offers local businesses the perfect vehicle to promote their high-end products and services to discerning Teessiders.
Like Tees Business, Tees Life is A4 size, printed on full colour, high-quality print, and will feature content covering food and drink, fashion, motoring and sport, health and beauty, people and places. In each issue our professional writers interview a leading Teesside personality as our cover feature – but, ultimately, we’re here to shout about all things Teesside and remind everyone why our area is GREAT!
And it gives businesses the chance to reach potential customers in a high-quality but affordable way.
We strongly feel Teesside is a great place to live and work – and we’ll be celebrating exactly that with this exciting new publication.
