A law firm has taken advantage of the housing boom by doubling the size of its conveyancing service.
Stockton-based Archers Law has strengthened its team with the appointment of four new recruits that will deal specifically with the purchase of new build properties.
The firm has recruited Hugh Jenyns to head up the new build conveyancing department and he is joined by Legal Assistant Karen Jones, with support from Lynne Burdon and Carrie Irving.
Christopher Todd, Managing Partner at Archers Law, said: “We are delighted that Hugh and his team have joined Archers.
“Whilst we have considerable experience in residential conveyancing, the new appointments have enabled us to create an additional service that deals specifically with new build properties.
“This has doubled our conveyancing service to eight people and extends our service provision.”
Mr Jenyns added: “I am very excited to have the opportunity to be involved in the business developments of the Archers Law conveyancing service.
“I have over 30 years residential conveyancing experience and more recently became involved in the new build industry as a panel solicitor for two major UK house builders.
“My previous team members, each of whom have considerable experience in new build conveyancing, have joined me and are all adept at working in a fast moving industry with competing timescales.”
Archers Law is an accredited member of the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme.
The firm has had a strong start to the first quarter of 2015, making six new appointments so far this year.
