Firms urged to attend Tees Valley Business Summit

Tees Valley Business Summit

Tees Valley Business Summit has proved its worth for local companies by helping them secure thousands of pounds worth of business.

The Summit, a well-established networking and B2B opportunity, is back for its fourth year and will take place in the Olympia Building at Teesside University in Middlesbrough on Wednesday July 8.

An exhibitor who attended last year’s event has outlined how beneficial it was to attend.

Andrea Clarke, from Enterprise Made Simple, which has offices in Middlesbrough, Redcar and Stockton, said contacts made at the 2014 Summit generated thousands of pounds worth of business.

Andrea, who is a director of the firm which specialises in business development training for small and medium-sized enterprises in the North East, said: “It was a particularly good trade show.

“There was an excellent mix of other exhibitors and good footfall throughout the whole of the day, which does not always happen at such events where visitors can tail off in the afternoon.”

Andrea, whose company employs 13 people, added: “The 2014 Tees Valley Business Summit generated thousands of pounds worth of business for us.”

Alongside a fully booked business exhibition, delegates will have the opportunity to attend a number of keynote presentations and take part in a programme of workshops covering themes such as supply chain opportunities, existing funding streams and supporting your workforce.

The Tees Valley Business Summit is free to attend, but delegates must register to secure their place.
