Staff at Darlington Building Society’s Middlesbrough branch have dressed up as their favourite superheroes for a local charity appeal.
Workers at the Linthorpe Road branch donned their masks and capes for TFM’s Cash 4 Kids appeal.
Darlington Building Society was raising money for the appeal, which helps North East children who are suffering abuse or neglect, are living with a disability or have special needs, or those who are in need of extra care and guidance.
Throughout the day, Darlington Building Society staff handed out goody bags containing superhero themed sweets to children visiting the branch, and held a colouring competition.
Customer service consultant Sara Jalhed said: “Our Superhero day has been a fantastic success. All the children who visited the branch really enjoyed the costumes, and it would be safe to say the staff enjoyed dressing up too!
“Darlington Building Society is committed to helping its local community and TFM’s Cash for Kids is a perfect way to help less fortunate children in the area.
“The work that TFM has been doing with our region’s disadvantaged children is outstanding and we are happy to provide our continued support to the campaign.”
