Coast & Country has also helped the local communities that it operates in by sponsoring a number of groups and initiatives. The organisation supported 16 different community groups during 2014 and 2015.
Community groups to benefit from Coast & Country’s sponsorship range from sports clubs, (including Grangetown Junior Football club, Boro’ Rangers and Redcar RUFC), local schools, (Belmont Primary School in Guisborough and South Bank Primary School’s It’s a Knockout Team) and community initiatives (Friends of Guisborough Forest and Redcar in Bloom).
Coast & Country chief executive Iain Sim said: “The money that has been raised over the past two years is really important for these charities and it will help them to continue their important work.
“Coast & Country is also committed to helping those in the communities that it serves and is happy to provide sponsorship to 16 local groups in those areas.
“These groups play a huge role within the neighbourhoods and it is vitally important that organisations such as Coast & Country support them to continue their excellent work.”
