Tees warehousing and logistics firm InBond has entered into a new long-term agreement with the North East’s largest registered landlord group, Thirteen.
Following the recent relocation of a number of Thirteen’s teams to Northshore on the banks of the river Tees in Stockton, the company has engaged with close neighbour InBond to provide secure document management services.
The contract was awarded following an extensive auditing process of InBond’s operations at its facility in Malleable Way where it employs 40 people.
The Stockton-based company invested significantly in its new facilities on the Northshore development in 2014, which complements other recent investment in equipment and technology solutions.
These include new mechanical handling equipment and a sophisticated warehouse management system providing web-enabled interfacing with clients.
As part of the new agreement, InBond is providing dedicated secure storage space for thousands of documents, which are subject to a stringent tracking system, for the organisation that owns and manages more than 32,000 homes in an area spanning North Tyneside to York.
Documents can either be accessed by requesting InBond’s secure delivery service or accessing the company’s reading room facility, which enables Thirteen staff to view files without the need to remove them from the premises.
Thirteen Group also can utilise InBond’s secure and certified confidential document destruction service.
InBond’s business support director, pictured (above) with Thirteen Group compliance leader Janine McNay, said: “Winning this contract demonstrates the stringent and highly secure operations we provide that are demanded by information-driven customers such as Thirteen Group.
“We are very proud to be working with such a well-known North East organisation, which is also a neighbour on the Northshore development.
“The area is growing in prominence as a significant business district in Tees Valley and we are delighted to be at the heart of it.”
Ms McNay added: “Information security is an absolute priority for an organisation like Thirteen and, as a result of a rigorous audit, we are confident that InBond can provide the level of service we require.”
