Teesside chartered surveyor and property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall has been named the Most Active commercial property Agent in the North-East by Estates Gazette for the fifth year running.
In the past year, Sanderson Weatherall’s North-East agency teams have let or sold a total of 700,000 sq ft of commercial, retail and industrial space across the region.
The firm, which has offices in Stockton, Darlington and Newcastle, was awarded the title, which is widely regarded as one of the top accolades for real estate agents, for transactions completed between September 1, 2014 and August 31, 2015.
Craig Stobbart (pictured), associate partner in the Teesside agency team, said: “To win this award for the fifth consecutive year is testament to the hard work and dedication of the agency team working across the Tees Valley.
“Our expertise, local knowledge and full service agency offer means we are best placed to advise across several sectors.
“The North-East agency team is entirely focused on securing the best deals for our clients and we are delighted to be recognised for that commitment once again.
“The office, retail and leisure sector also remains buoyant but it’s the firm’s industrial team that has been particularly active in Teesside.
“We have seen considerable resurgence in the investment and industrial market in the past 12 months, particularly on established industrial estates where demand is very high.
“All of this demonstrates a return of confidence to occupiers in the industrial, commercial and retail property market in the North East.”
Located on Westpoint Road in Stockton, Sanderson Weatherall is a leading independent practice of chartered surveyors and property consultants.
The firm combines local market knowledge with a thorough understanding of the property industry to provide a full service consultancy offering valuation and rating, agency and investment, building consultancy, planning and asset management, along with most other property disciplines.
