Fast-growing Teesside estate agents Hunters are set to win a national property award for a fourth successive year.

The Middlesbrough-based firm is set to celebrate a double success ahead of more than 150 branches within Hunters’ national network.

It will be just the latest in a series of awards successes for Hunters, who recently received the North East Estate Agents of the Year Bronze Award in the prestigious Negotiator Awards.

And sales progressor Charlotte Melling has received Hunters’ national best employee award for the last six months.

It all adds up to an exciting end-of-year for the estate agent, as they look to build on last year’s 102% increase in turnover with a projected 25% upturn this time around.

Sales manager Lisa Preston received The Negotiator award on behalf of Hunters from TV personality Alexander Armstrong at a glitzy ceremony held the London Hilton on Park Lane.

Lisa said: “The Negotiator Awards are the Oscars of the property industry and this year’s competition attracted more than 360 entries, the most in its history.

“We have worked incredibly hard to be acknowledged for our outstanding achievements since opening just five years ago and are so proud to be recognised at this level.”

The Teesside team are set to follow up the success with further acclaim, as they currently lead the way for both the Platinum Sales gong for overall property sales and Gold Lettings award for most properties let across Hunters’ national network.

They completed a hat-trick of successes last year when winning both the national Platinum Sales and Most Improved categories on the back of successive wins as Best Lettings Branch across the north of England in 2012 and 2013.

“We’re hopeful of topping the ‘Champions League’ for sales of all estate agents within the national Hunters network for a second time,” added Lisa.

“We’ve quickly established ourselves as the third biggest estate agents on Teesside, with a core of our business in Middlesbrough and Stockton, via an absolute commitment to working hard to get the best possible price for our clients.

“We’re confident of a successful and exciting 2016 as we look to build on our growth and help many more people buy, sell and let properties across the area.”

After Charlotte received her award in a ceremony held in London, Lisa said: “Charlotte is often required to be a problem solver, investigator, friend, referee and councillor to help a sale through.

“She genuinely cares for both buyer and vendor and always leaves buyers and vendors with a top class impression of Hunters Teesside. She fully deserves such recognition.”
