Housebuilder Avant Homes has started to work on two new developments on Teesside which will contribute to its delivery of over 400 homes in the region over the next three years.
The developments, called Millbrook and Tall Trees are located on Gypsy Lane in Nunthorpe, Middlesbrough and the former Tall Trees Hotel site on Green Lane in Yarm, Stockton.
The first homes are expected to be ready for occupation in early summer with build due to be fully complete by 2019.
Millbrook and Tall Trees are two of four new sites by Avant Homes currently under construction in Teesside. Works also began to build 120 homes at Wynyard Grange and 60 homes at Manor Gardens in Ingleby Barwick, Stockton at the end of 2015.
All four sites have a gross combined development value of £130 million and will provide a total of over 400 new homes.
Avant Homes’ North East managing director, Scott Varley, said: “We are very excited to be bringing these four new developments to the region.
“Our ongoing land investment strategy is allowing us to build high-quality new homes in desirable locations where there is a strong demand for homes and we expect to see a great deal of interest from buyers.
“We’ve experienced extremely high levels of interest at our previous developments in the Tees Valley including Pottery Wharf in Thornaby and Ladgate Park in Marton, and are already seeing this demand replicated in Ingleby Barwick and Wynyard Grange.”
Millbrook will offer a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes whilst at Tall Trees there will be a collection of three, four and five bedroom luxury homes to choose from.
All properties will be from Avant Homes’ new portfolio of house designs, which have been created following extensive market research into what today’s buyers are looking for in a new home.
Based in Sunderland, Avant Homes North East is an operating company of the Avant Homes group, one of the leading private developers of residential property in the UK.
