A Teesside digital agency has announced it has joined forces with internet giant Google to host a one-off digital insight event in February.
Aimed at businesses of all sizes, the free to attend event will focus on educating attendees with valuable digital skills including how to improve their online advertising. It will be will be held in Boho Five on Wednesday February 22.
A team from Google will also travel to the North East to be on hand to answer questions and help local businesses take advantage of the high demand for products and services on Google throughout the day.
Mabo Media managing director Lee Mableson said: “We’re excited to be welcoming Google to the region and really putting Teesside on the map as a digital hub.
“The aim of the event is to provide an environment for local businesses to explore new opportunities to promote themselves online and learn key digital skills from the specialists.”
Mabo Media offers a comprehensive paid search management service and is a key Google partner in the North East.
The agency boasts a Premier Partner status which aims to identify key agencies across the UK that demonstrate a solid history of running large client campaigns, as well as employing individuals who have Google accredited qualifications.

Google has recently cited research showing that more than 90% of jobs will require key digital skills in the very near future. The research also found that small companies can grow twice as fast when they have a strong web presence.
