Former Middlesbrough and Manchester United star Gary Pallister has helped to kick off the second phase of a new development of 64 contemporary homes in Eaglescliffe, Stockton.
Redcastle Homes’ West Acres Park development features a range of three, four and five-bedroom family homes, with more than a third having sold over the past six months.
The Teesside house builder commenced building last year on West Acres, situated just off Durham Lane, close to Allens West railway station.
Redcastle Homes managing director Raj Singh said: “West Acres is a beautiful development and we’re delighted that phase one has been extremely well received.
“As a small, independent builder, we’re able to offer house-hunters bespoke, high specification homes that ensure you get a lot for your money. The homes really are stunning.
“With nearly all the phase one homes now sold, a further 14 are now underway as part of phase two, with all infrastructure in place.
“With easy access to the A66, railway station and amenities in nearby Yarm, West Acres is a fantastic place to live, so we’re confident the remaining development will prove equally popular.”
To mark the end of the development’s first phase and launch the second phase, former England star Pallister paid a visit to the home of Gary and Sue Fisher as they moved into their home on West Acres.
Sue said: “We weren’t looking to move but I passed the development and decided to take a look around. I loved the open plan concept and the overall quality of the homes, so were quickly convinced this was the place for us.
“Having seen the designs for our house, we put the deposit down that afternoon. What really sold it to us was the master bedroom taking up the entire second floor. It has the wow factor.”
Prices at West Acres range from £199,999 to £459,999, with part-exchange and stamp duty now available on selected homes on the development.
All of the properties include modern kitchens, contemporary styled oak veneered doors, painted feature staircases with oak hand rails, Italian designed bathrooms and extra large walk-in showers.
Redcastle Homes, which is part of The Prestige Group, is funded by the Government’s Homes and Communities Agency and is accredited with them for the Help to Buy scheme, while the firm also offers Assisted Moves incentives.
All West Acres homes are also backed by warranty as Redcastle is an approved builder with national firm Premier Guarantee.
