A leading hirer of portable site accommodation and secure storage containers based in Stockton has made a further £1m investment into its range of industry-leading, energy-efficient, mobile welfare units.
Mobile Mini, which has 16 branches nationwide, including branches in the North East at Middlesbrough and Sunderland, added the Groundhog GP360 Fusion unit to its fleet.
Off the back of its success, and following high and growing demand from its customers, by June 2017, Mobile Mini will have increased the size of its mobile welfare fleet by 50%.
Since the beginning of the year, new units have been ordered and others distributed across the company’s branches. As all units are less than one year old, Mobile Mini still has the youngest fleet of Groundhog units on the market.
The market leading Groundhog GP360 Fusion units are purpose built for construction sites without water or electricity connections, and offer cost-effective, robust and easy to use, anti-vandal site accommodation for construction workers, while guaranteeing the lowest emissions and fuel consumption of any similar unit.
Even more enhancements have been made to the newer models, including improvements to the tow hitch, a more resilient plastic composite floor throughout and a smaller, lighter nose cone for ease of use.
Mobile Mini’s commitment to investing in the Groundhog units highlights the continued growth of the company, which recently reported record results for its UK business, with annual income hitting £59.8m for 2016, a 3.8% increase on 2015.
