Steve McClaren was the star guest as Teesside’s newest lifestyle magazine was launched this week.
Tees Life – Tees Business’ sister publication produced by Resolution Media and Publishing – was celebrated at Chadwick’s Inn Maltby on Tuesday night.
McClaren, the former Boro and England manager, was one of the featured interviews in the debut edition of Tees Life, which is now being circulated across Teesside.
The exciting new publication also featured Tees-born actor Mark Benton on its front cover.
Tuesday’s launch event, hosted by Chadwick’s owners Helen Gill and Lee Tolley, was attended by McClaren and some of his family as well as 40 other guests.

They included Teessiders Richard and Sam Bendelow, who allowed Tees Life into their beautiful Kirklevington home for a special interiors feature.
Other attendees included Reuben and Tracey Hanlon from Linthorpe Interiors, Martin Laidlaw and Jill Nettleton from National Numbers, Alisdair Beveridge from The Build Directory, Roberto Pittalis from Cafe Lilli, Andy Preston from The Fork in the Road, Amanda Gardiner from Durham Lifting, David Singh from JCT600 Porsche Teesside, Joanne Fryett from Stockton Council, Nick Waites from CP Waites, Jonathan and Sarah Carlton from KINSHIP and Claire Wordsworth from SABIC.
Resolution co-director Dave Allan, who spoke at the launch event, said: “We’re very proud of the first issue of Tees Life after a lot of hard work by our small team.
“We believe, like with Tees Business, that we’ve found a gap in the local publishing market. While there are many regional lifestyle magazines that cover the North-East, there are no publications we’d class as lifestyle specifically just for the Teesside region.
“We’re proud of where we live and we’re proud Teessiders, and hopefully that comes through in our magazines.
“Tees Business has already proved a huge success since its launch in February 2015 and we’re confident Tees Life will follow suit.”
Tees Life is published quarterly and delivered free to homes, restaurants, hotels and salons across Teesside including Wynyard, Eaglescliffe, Yarm, Ingleby Barwick, Wolviston, Hartburn, Nunthorpe, Marton and Guisborough.
The Resolution team is already taking bookings for the next issue of Tees Life, with a booking deadline of 5pm on Friday July 7.
Space is available from £145 (1/8th page), £245 (quarter page), £395 (half page), £645 (full page) and £1,075 (double page spread).
