Acting on behalf of a private landlord, property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall has sold a 7,800 sq ft industrial warehouse unit in Preston Farm Industrial Estate to local investor, SCS structures.

The unit, which is located in one of Teesside’s premier commercial locations, is set to be refurbished and offered back on to the market to let.

It was sold for £360,000, £10,000 over asking price, and at £45 per sq ft.

George Williams, commercial property agent at Sanderson Weatherall, said: “The price we achieved on this unit and the fact that it sold so quickly, highlights both the on-going demand for industrial units of this type in the area, as well as the attractive opportunity they offer to investors.”

Its Teesside team moved to second floor, 1,532 sq ft space in Roseberry House on Bowesfield Park, Preston Farm, over a year ago.
