Legendary Tees athlete Tanni Grey-Thompson is the star interview in the Summer issue of our sister lifestyle publication, due out next month.
The 47-year-old, originally from Wales but who now lives in Eaglescliffe, spoke to co-editor Dave Allan in the forthcoming issue of Tees Life, which is out from around July 21.
Over her career, Lady Grey-Thompson won a total of 16 Paralympic medals, including 11 golds, held over 30 world records and won the London Marathon six times between 1992 and 2002.
She was created a Life Peer on the recommendation of the House of Lords Appointments Commission in 2010, becoming Baroness Grey-Thompson of Eaglescliffe.
The quarterly Tees Life, which is produced by Tees Business publishers Resolution Media and Publishing, launched earlier this year, creating the only true lifestyle magazine dedicated to the Tees region
