Psyche turnover set to climb to record £9m
Tees fashion retailer Psyche says it’s set to record a record turnover this year.
Middlesbrough-based Psyche, which offers an instore and online shopping experience with its hand-picked selection of well over 200 established brands and emerging designers includes the likes of Moncler, Dries Van Noten, Paul Smith, Aquascutum, Armani, is heading for annual sales of £9m – up £1m on 2016 figures.
Owner Steve Cochrane said: “We are on course to increase our turnover by £1m this year.
“Kidswear is proving especially strong with business in that department up by more than a third. Our online sales are flying high with an increase of 78.5 percent compared to 2016.
“We had a cracking Easter within the store and while this has slowed down due to the mixed weather we have had so far this summer, overall our instore turnover is ahead of last year.”
Psyche’s website now accounts for 40% of its business, while online sales have climbed 78%.
