Tees bridal designer wins regional final at prestigious wedding awards

Local Bridal designer Kate Fearnley, who runs a bridal and prom business on Middlesbrough’s Linthorpe Road, was a finalist from hundreds of entries at the prestigious Wedding Industry Awards, held at Mansion House in Leeds.

Beating off competitors from the whole of the North East and Yorkshire, Kate is now through to the national finals, due to be held in London in January.

Kate has been a well known name on Teesside for many years after scooping a Cosmopolitan award and being a favourite designer on the celebrity circuit.

Katie Price, Michelle Keegan, Alexander Burke, Girls Aloud are amongst those Kate has dressed for the red carpet.

She recently held the launch of her new collection at Acklam Hall which has been getting lots of attention from the bridal press.

Kate said: “Winning this award is very important to me, and the fantastic team I have working so hard to grow the brand.

“I believe the service we offer from initial design stage to finished dress is unique and second to none in the area.

“I am over the moon that so many of our brides have voted for us and we are now really looking forward to the London final.”
