Multi-national building services firm signs 10-year Teesdale lease

A major European building services company has signed a 10-year lease on offices in Stockton.

Part of a Europe-wide, multi-disciplinary group, SPIE will make the top floor of Advance House at St Mark’s Court on Teesdale Business Park its new regional base as part of the deal.

SPIE, which employs more than 3,500 people in the UK across a number of regional offices and provides a range of building and facilities services, is relocating from Thornaby to Teesdale.

Stephen Brown, senior partner at Dodds Brown which let the recently-refurbished 4,305 sq ft office space, said: “Advance House offers fully refurbished, high specification office space on one of the region’s best business parks, so it is now wonder that SPIE has chosen it for its new office.

“Teesdale Business Park is located on a stunning River Tees waterfront site, and has easy access via the A66 and A19, generous car parking and good on-site facilities.

“It’s a natural location for organisations seeking high quality office space.”

Major occupiers on Teesdale Business Park include Serco, Santander, Atkins, Turner and Townsend, Johnson Matthey, Atos and Durham University.
