Stockton-based Davies Tracey Accountants has appointed Diane Hodgson to the practice as client partner.
Diane – pictured above with the firm’s managing director Craig Davies – has over 30 years’ experience in senior management roles working for accountancy firms in the region including Baldwins which was previously Evolution and also Vantis.
This is a new role for Davies Tracey which employs 27 staff at its Teesdale offices in Stockton.
Diane will manage a portfolio of manufacturing, professional services and small business clients to support their accountancy needs and act in a business advisory capacity to help sustain businesses with current challenges as well as growth ambitions.
MD Craig Davies said: “We are delighted to welcome Diane on board to Davies Tracey as part of our senior team.
“I have known Diane for over 20 years and she has a great reputation for reliability and customer service, qualities which fit well with our service standards.
“We are a modern day business with old-fashioned values and one of the largest independent accountancy firms in the Tees Valley.
“Whilst technology is a great asset to our business, we don’t plan on losing sight of the personal touch – clients know that they’re in safe hands with Davies Tracey and that trust is built by creating long-lasting client relationships.
“We have had connections with some clients for over 100 years and are working with third or fourth generations of local businesses – our roots go back this far through acquisition of Gilchrist Tash in 2012, who were established in the 1870’s.
“Our business ethos and high quality customer service approach remains consistent – this is where Diane will make a great contribution to our clients.”
Davies Tracey was established in 2002 by Craig Davies and Ian Tracey, and has since then grown organically and through acquisition.
