New head appointed at Wilton-based Sembcorp Utilities

One of Teesside’s most influential industrial businesses has a new man at the helm.

Nomi Ahmad has been appointed head of Sembcorp’s newly-created UK and Europe business, which includes the Wilton International-based industrial utilities and services provider Sembcorp Utilities UK.

Ahmad, 48, has been with Sembcorp Industries for four years, most recently as a senior manager of the group’s business development group in Singapore but has spent 24 years in power development, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, and asset management.
