More good news for razorblue after memorable 2017

IT firm razorblue had its best ever quarter after seeing revenue increase by 29% to cap a memorable 2017.

And the good news keeps coming this year as the company announces new client wins, as well as being named as a finalist in the Apprenticeship category of the North East Business Awards.

razorblue, headquartered in the North East and with a base at Wynyard, has created a new account management team, expanded and improved its service desk and continued to recruit new staff throughout 2017 as the business has grown and taken on new clients.

The firm expects to turn over in excess of £4.5m this year and continue to create more jobs in the region.

In the last 12 months razorblue has increased its staff numbers to over 60 to assist with its growth plans and has also celebrated a year at its Wynyard office. Notable new clients in 2017 included BHP Law, Archers Law and Stiller Warehousing and Distribution.

In the first few months of 2018 the company has also welcomed on board construction firm Finley Structures amongst many others.

The company specialises in managed IT services, cloud, connectivity, telecoms and business software. razorblue is also perfectly placed to advise on matters of cyber security and data management, offering a cyber readiness health check for any company wanting to evaluate the effectiveness of their current security measures ahead of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which becomes enforceable at the end of May.

razorblue expects to sustain similar levels of growth in the coming year with the recent launch of a new managed IT security product for its clients. This comes hot on the heels of the launch of the Microsoft Dynamics product family, as razorblue became one of the first companies in the region to offer Microsoft’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, Dynamics Nav.
