The Bannatyne Group has appointed an experienced manager to open and run the new spa at its Ingleby Barwick health club.
Ashleigh Baker has been with the company for seven years, beginning as a therapist at the Darlington spa and progressing to manage the facility.
Ashleigh, who is trained in all the treatments offered at Bannatyne Spa, is joined by senior spa therapist Hannah McDougal and spa therapists Louise Briggs, Elisha Hughes-Bunn and Emily Lockwood.
The Bannatyne Spa will add a new dimension to the health and wellbeing offering at the health club, with five well-appointed treatment rooms – one of which is a dual room, manicure and pedicure stations and a range of spa treatments, using high quality products including Elemis, HD brows, LVL and Jessica Nailcare.
It will open for treatments at the end of May and a new café bar with a late licence, outdoor patio area and serving Starbucks coffee will be available for spa guests.
Ashleigh said: “I’m proud to be opening the new spa at Ingleby Barwick, particularly as it is the first club opened by the company back in 1997.
“I loved my time at Darlington and will use all my experience there to make the Ingleby Barwick spa a real success. I have a talented team of therapists and we’re looking forward to welcoming guests and showing off the fantastic facilities and luxurious treatments.”
Karen Wilkinson, group spa director at the Bannatyne Group, said: “Ashleigh is the perfect manager for our newest spa and I am confident that she and the team will deliver the fantastic treatments and customer experience Bannatyne spas are rightly proud of.”
