Jacksons Law Firm appointed to Tees Valley Combined Authority legal panel

Stockton-based Jacksons has announced that it has been appointed to the panel of legal advisors to the Tees Valley Combined Authority.

Jacksons, based on Falcon Court at Preston Farm, was invited by TVCA to tender for the provision of a wide range of legal services including corporate and commercial, commercial property, employment, health & safety and regulatory, dispute resolution, banking and funding and debt recovery.

Following the creation of TVCA in April 2016, the authority, along with its elected mayor Ben Houchen, has been working with the local business community to develop and support growth ambitions for the region including; education attainment, producing a skilled workforce for the needs of local businesses, job creation and to introduce new processes and practices for research and development, innovation and energy.

Julie Prior, TVCA’s legal and commercial manager, said: “We are working hard to deliver investment, new jobs and economic growth in our area. We want to make Tees Valley the best place possible to live, work and visit.

“Jacksons has demonstrated that it is a real ambassador of the region and the Combined Authority is looking forward to working with everyone at the firm over the coming years.”
