An ambitious Tees company has more than doubled the size of its Darlington headquarters and has just opened its first international office.
BWL Consulting moved to Lingfield Point in September 2017 and demand for its services has seen the company expand and take on further staff – including two university graduates.
And new opportunities overseas have recently seen the company expand and open its first office outside of the UK.
The rapidly growing consultancy, which offers bid, tender and commercial services, has moved up from 344 to 816 sq ft of office space at Lingfield Point as part of its continued growth and development strategy.
Director Michael Lee said: “Since our inception more than 12 months ago, we have experienced significant growth with both national and international clients. As a result, we moved to bigger premises to accommodate our growing workforce.
“Lingfield Point was our first choice due to its central location and construction related clients located here. It’s close to major road, rail and air transport links and gives us a platform to grow for many years to come.
“We recently launched our first international office in the Republic of Ireland and we are currently looking to expand into Australia, Singapore, Qatar, Dubai, the US and Canada within the next five years.”

The company now has a workforce of 10, having recently taken on an additional four staff.
