Business is continuing to hot up for a Teesside air conditioning firm as they take on more staff to meet demand, despite the drop in temperature.
Enviro-Tech Maintenance Services, based in Stockton, is expanding thanks to an increase in sales and enquiries.
The firm’s latest recruit Jamie Owens has joined the Enviro-Tech MS team after a red hot summer led to more customers wanting air conditioning in their homes and businesses.
Sales at Enviro-Tech Maintenance Services were up by an unprecedented 40% as businesses updated their air-con systems.
The company at Brunswick Street have also found that air conditioning has become one of the must-have items on a house buyers wish list with many new housing developers including it as an optional extra.
“I’m delighted to be joining the team at such an exciting stage in the company’s history,” said Owens.
“It’s great to see that people are embracing air conditioning into their homes and work places.”
The firm’s managing director Paul Walls said: “We are delighted to have Jamie join the team and at a time when the company is continuing to grow.
“It’s also a family affair as we also sponsor Jamie’s sister Bianca Owens who plays for Norton Ladies and is one of the top scorers in The FA’s Women’s Northern League.”
