Wynyard Business Park has secured a major office letting to an un-named public sector organisation.
Acting on behalf of Northumberland Estates, letting agents Knight Frank and Dodds Brown have let a high-spec 5,100 sq ft unit at Wynyard Business Village on a new five-year lease.
The deal comes hard on the heels of Everflow, the UK’s fastest-growing water supplier, doubling its office space at the business park.
Widely regarded as one of the most prestigious office developments in the Tees Valley, Wynyard Business Park is located close to the junction of the A19 with the A689, just north of Billingham, and is a hub for professional and engineering services companies.
It offers high specification, grade A, office buildings and suites ranging in size from 1,000 sq ft to 20,000 sq ft, with smaller office suites available in Wynyard Park’s Business Centre, as well as development plots.
Anthony Cape, asset manager at Northumberland Estates, says: “We are very happy to accommodate an essential public service at Wynyard Business Park.
“The successful letting, following a thorough procurement period, once again highlights the desirability of the business park.
“With new executive housing nearby and planned retail and leisure developments on site, there really is no better office base in the Tees Valley.”
Richard Wilson, senior associate partner at Teesside independent commercial property consultants Dodds Brown, added: “Wynyard Business Park’s position at the junction of the A19 and A689, facilitates easy access to the whole of the North East and beyond, making it ideal for a regional office.”
More than 65 businesses, employing more than 2,000 people, are presently located at Wynyard Business Park.
