Businesses can join in celebrating the 15th anniversary of Middlesbrough’s famous Carling Cup win at a special evening with former players.

Middlesbrough FC’s Events Department are delighted to announce an evening of nostalgia on Thursday February 28: 128 Years Later… 15 Years On.

Corporate tables are available for the evening, which is due to be hosted by Sky Sports North-East reporter Keith Downie, while sponsorship opportunities are also available.

Supporters young and old are invited to relive the magic of the day with inside stories from the changing room leading up to the final and the big day itself from midfield powerhouse George Boateng and defensive duo Danny Mills and Franck Queudrue*. More special guests for this unmissable event will be confirmed in due course.

Stories will include the nerve-wracking penalty shootouts against Everton and Tottenham, inflicting Arsenal’s first home domestic defeat in 30 games thanks to Juninho’s goal in the semi-final and of course, the big day itself where ‘Boro were 2-0 up inside eight minutes thanks to Joseph Job’s opener and that infamous penalty from Bolo Zenden.

The club will be asking what the thoughts were following that goal from Kevin Davies and the feeling when Mike Riley blew the final whistle and Boro’s first trophy in 128 years was handed over, ensuing wild celebrations in Cardiff and Teesside!

The event is priced £55pp inc VAT or £500 inc VAT per table of 10, the experience includes:
