Communicate Technology has been selected as finalists in the 2019 Cyber Security Awards.
The Wynyard-based firm has been shortlisted in the ‘Innovative Product of the Year – Threat Detection’ category of the awards, which were established in 2014 to reward the best individuals, teams and companies within the cyber security industry. Excellence and innovation are core themes, throughout all categories.
The national Cyber Security Awards team reviews the industry, looking for the best possible applicants.
“Being shortlisted is a fantastic achievement for our team, it is testament that we provide the best effective cyber security solutions to our clients,” said CEO Tony Snaith, pictured above (right) with Konrad Rutkowski and David Johnson.
Communicate’s seamless process has reduced response times by over 200% to under 10 minutes.
The solution has been further developed to be cloud-based, rather than a traditional hardware-based solution, saving investment in capital equipment.
Director Johnson added: “This month alone we have saved one client over £83,000 on a hardware renewal.
“In addition, we have reduced carbon emissions in the client’s data centre by removing old hardware and replacing it with more energy-efficient cloud alternatives utilising existing cloud infrastructure.”
The winners will be announced at the Cyber Security Awards dinner and presentation at the Park Plaza Hotel, Victoria, on July 4.
