The Tees Valley Combined Authority is again backing the Tees Businesswomen Awards, in association with Northern Skills Group.
Tees Business publishers Resolution Media & Publishing are organising the event, which takes place in the Grand Marquee at Wynyard Hall on the evening of Thursday, October 24.
The event will celebrate the Tees region’s brilliant businesswomen and the organisations they lead, whilst also inspiring future generations.
The Tees Valley Combined Authority is sponsoring the Best New Business category again after backing the same category in last year’s inaugural event.
Julie Gilhespie, chief executive of the combined authority, said: “The Tees Businesswomen Awards is an important stage from where we can highlight the massive achievements of the female entrepreneurs, owners, directors and managers that grow our regional economy and inspire the next generation of leaders.
“Last year’s event was eye-opening and I was delighted to see the depth and breadth of industries in Tees Valley with women at the helm.
“Tees Valley Combined Authority and I want to encourage young women to realise opportunities, dream big and aspire to get to the top.
“That’s why we’re proud to be sponsoring the awards again this year and helping to amplify all of these motivating stories.”
The Tees Businesswomen Awards event will celebrate the Tees region’s brilliant businesswomen and the organisations they lead, whilst also inspiring future generations.
Almost 100 entries have been received this year, and each category sponsor now has the difficult task of shortlisting each category to three, with only one winner.
Tickets include a prosecco reception, three-course meal including table wine, VIP pictures, inspirational speakers, music and seats for the presentation of the awards.
A table of 10 is priced £750 (+vat) for the glamorous event, with single tickets available at £75 (+vat) each.
