Greetings card and gift specialist Card Factory has opened the doors to a new store at Teesside Park, creating 10 new jobs.
The new shop, which is in a unit formerly occupied by Paperchase, offers more than 3,000 unique cards, for a range of occasions from birthdays and weddings to christenings and new homes.
It also has a variety of gifts, balloons, partyware and stationery, as well as invites for weddings, birthdays and more.
Adam Roe, store manager at Card Factory, said: “We’ve really enjoyed our first week of opening at Teesside Park, and have been busy welcoming customers to the new store to see the great range we have on offer.
“We know that Stockton-on-Tees likes to party and, whatever the occasion, we’re here to help you celebrate with our broad range that offers great value without compromising on quality.”
Mike Clarke, centre director at Teesside Park, said: “It’s always a pleasure to welcome new retailers and I’m sure that Card Factory will prove incredibly popular with shoppers. We’re continuing to invest in Teesside Park to make it the best shopping, leisure and dining destination in the region, which includes continuing to bring our shoppers new brands as well as developing our facilities.”
The new store opening has created 10 new jobs, with extra seasonal staff due to be taken on over the Christmas period.
