Law firm Punch Robson Solicitors was one of the first companies to support the inaugural Tees Tech Awards by sponsoring one of the categories.
The region’s thriving digital sector will be celebrated when the Tees Tech Awards are held in April 2020, in association with DigitalCity and Middlesbrough Digital.
Organised by Tees Business, the inaugural Tees Tech Awards will take place in Wynyard Hall’s Grand Marquee on the evening of Thursday April 23 next year.
The awards will recognise and celebrate the organisations and individuals thriving within the Tees Valley’s fast-growing digital sector together with the local companies driving their business through digital transformation.
Stockton-based Punch Robson has agreed to sponsor the Tees Tech Leader category.
The firm’s managing partner Elaine McLaine-Wood, pictured with Tees Business co-editor Martin Walker, said: “We’re proud and very pleased to be sponsoring the Tees Tech Business Leader of the Year Award.
“Having clients in the tech and digital sectors, and having helped to form spin-off companies from Digital City some years ago, it is lovely to see the evolving cutting edge dynamic of those businesses not only evolve but shine globally.
“We welcome the opportunity to judge this category to celebrate the leading individuals at the forefront of their businesses.”
Tees Business co-editor Martin Walker said: “The response we’ve had to the very first Tees Tech Awards has been fantastic so far.
“We’re grateful to Elaine and her team at Punch Robson Solicitors, as well as all the other sponsors, for helping to make this happen – particularly as we approach a potentially exciting new dawn for the sector across the Tees Valley.”
Among the awards presented to organisations and individuals will be the inaugural Tees Tech Company of the Year and Tees Tech Business Leader of the Year, while other categories will recognise local tech leaders in export, innovation and partnership.
As well as headline sponsors DigitalCity and Middlesbrough Digital, Punch Robson Solicitors have joined Tracerco, Communicate, Jacksons Law Firm, Baldwins Group and Middlesbrough College as category sponsors for the Tees Tech Awards.
Only four category sponsorships are now available for sponsorship, including the Tees Tech Ambassador individual award, and three company categories in Exporter, Newcomer and Tees Tech for Good (for use of digital for charity, community or change).
Sponsorship packages, which include a table of table of 10 (worth £750), a champagne reception, an opportunity to judge category entries and present category award including short speech plus pre and post-event publicity (print and online), are priced £3,000 + VAT.
