Punch Robson’s Elaine McLaine-Wood said: “Beaujolais is a day of celebration and thanks to our clients and contacts.

“The partners at Punch Robson very much value the people that we work with and for, and this is our small way of letting them know.

“Many who attend confirm that it is the best event they attend every year, which is more reason to carry on the tradition.

“The Jet Miners is a fabulous location for the event which consists of excellent food, drink and pub games.”

John Taylor of Parker Barras won the pool competition, beating John Wilkin in the final, while John Martinson of Handelsbanken Stockton won the darts, with Biochemica’s John Fraser runner-up.
