Work starts on new £10m residential development near Darlington

Work has started on a new £10m residential development in Middleton St George, near Darlington.

Roman Gate is the latest scheme by Yorkshire based multi award-winning developer Advent Developments.

It will comprise of 21, four and five bedroom family homes, providing spacious accommodation, large landscaped gardens, garages and private parking. The first properties are due for completion by summer 2020.

The site is situated less than two miles from Darlington and just 400m from Dinsdale railway station, where regular services run to destinations including Darlington, Newcastle and Middlesbrough.

The main building contract works are being undertaken by Wetherby based Keepsake Construction and funding has been provided by Homes England.

Advent Developments work extensively across West and North Yorkshire, specialising in both regeneration schemes and new build.
