Teesside University pro vice-chancellor Jane Turner OBE was the first guest on a new regular webchat featuring leading personalities from the Tees region’s business scene.
The university’s gender champion spoke for more than 25 minutes during the feature-length Talking Business discussion with Tees Business editor Dave Allan.
It’s the latest online feature launched by Tees Business as the region continues to battle with the Covid-19 crisis.
Tees Business are also publishing weekly online Q&As live on their Facebook page, featuring three of the region’s business leaders each week, which are attracting thousands of views.
The debut Talking Business feature with Jane has already had 13,000 views on Facebook alone.
Tees Business co-editor Martin Walker said: “These new features seem to be going very well as we all continue to find new ways of doing things.
“We felt it was important for us to not only keep talking to the Tees region’s business community, but to ramp it up, given that we’re all spending more time online at the moment, and that we’re all looking for help, advice, insight and inspiration during these difficult times.
“The webchats are proving popular and we hope to bring you more interesting interviews from other leading business personalities in the weeks ahead.”
