An innovative nationwide marketing campaign designed to highlight the importance of our high streets has been unveiled in Stockton.
Humans of the High Street aims to document in real terms the thoughts and feelings of business owners during the Covid-19 pandemic and ensuing lockdown.
The campaign, which was created by Tees Valley creative agency OOK for Stockton BID (Business Improvement District), #HOTHS is made up of a series of emotive videos filmed with the people who own and run shops, cafes and premises along the famous wide high street and surrounding area.
HOTHS runs nationwide across multiple digital platforms including YouTube and on social media.
Plans include rolling Humans of the High Street out to radio and TV.
Praising the marketing, Cllr Pauline Beall, Stockton Town Centre ward, said: “This is an excellent piece of work thanks to Jason Maxwell, BID manager, OOK and all our fabulous independent traders. We would urge people to please share as widely as you can.”
