Aspire supports Tees firms with 12 months free ultrafast internet offer

A North-East tech firm has vowed to continue to support businesses across the region after the recent announcement of new lockdown measures due to the Covid-19 crisis.

Aspire Technology Solutions, who were named Company of the Year at the North East Business Awards 2020, are enabling local businesses to benefit from one full year’s worth of free ultrafast connectivity.

Chris Fraser, managing director, said the company has been “lucky” in terms of the impact it has experienced during the pandemic, but wants to help those across the region who have had a more difficult time.

The tech firm who has recently revealed plans to open a new Teesside office in early 2021 has developed its own full fibre network throughout the North-East.

Known as Ultrafast Dedicated Connectivity (UDC), Aspire provides business connectivity of up to 100 gigabits per second (Gb/s), the fastest speeds and most reliable service available in the country.

How is Aspire supporting businesses? Until December 31 2020, North-East businesses can take advantage of up to 12 months’ free Ultrafast Dedicated Connectivity (UDC). <link to>

In Aspire’s bid to help local businesses increase efficiency and improve productivity during the current difficult climate, they can receive 12 months free on a new five-year UDC contract, or six months free on a new three-year UDC contract. To provide extra flexibility, go-live dates can be any time until June 30 2021.

During the period of free connectivity, which will see businesses make savings of more than 16.5%, there will be no costs to pay for installation or rental. The payment break will mean Teesside businesses can take advantage of world-class business connectivity, at a time when it is most needed.

“Being connected to a reliable network is crucial for businesses to remain productive during this time,” said MD Chris. “We’ve seen a number of organisations who didn’t have the right connectivity and during lockdown, they struggled with core performance.”

Aspire’s UDC offering can provide the right all-important connectivity for small start-ups to large businesses, and the company has provided services to businesses across the spectrum.

Chris explained: “UDC contracts can start out as a small and more cost-effective solution and as your business scales, it can scale with you.”

To continue their support, Aspire have recently teamed up with the North East Automotive Alliance to deliver a series of free webinars focusing on how best to utilise technology during the current climate.

The first in the series is a connectivity webinar to be held on November 26 2020. The session will discuss how business connectivity is delivered across the North-East and the range of solutions available. Practical guidance will be offered to help businesses find the right connectivity solutions to accommodate the changing workplace environment.
