Hundreds of virtual guests are expected to join Tees Business in celebrating the 2020 Tees Businesswomen Awards, which will be held online next week.
The 2020 awards will be streamed as live from 7pm on Thursday, January 14, with 10 main awards up for grabs.
Crafter’s Companion founder and Dragons’ Den star Sara Davies will be the ‘keynote speaker’ for the virtual bash, with Caroline Theobald hosting.
A pre-awards event will be held on Zoom from 6.30pm, which will be an opportunity to hear from previous winners and special guests as we build up to the big event.
Tees Business are encouraging all ‘guests’ to don their dinner outfits – ball gown/cocktail dress or black tie – and enjoy the night with some food and drinks.
Registration for the free pre-awards reception is available here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/tees-businesswomen-awards-2020-tickets-135707463677
Tees Business received 85 entries across 10 categories for the third annual awards to celebrate the Tees region’s women in business.
The category sponsors shortlisted those down to three per award, before each category was marked by five different sponsors, with the results being revealed on the night.
Filming for the shortlist video features was completed by Middlesbrough-based Wander Films just before Christmas, and the event itself will be delivered online with the help of Darlington-based Recognition PR, who helped to deliver the inaugural Tees Tech Awards last August.
The awards presentation will be screened as live via YouTube from 7pm at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTwI1qZz2Xg
