In a week that celebrated International Women’s Day, Darlington-based marketing specialists White Digital have announced the restructuring of its senior management team with the addition of two key female staff members.
Kathy Allen and Chloe Page have joined the existing team of Charlie Butlin and Mike Dodgson, meaning that 50 per cent of White Digital’s senior management team is now female.
“Every member of the senior management team got the role because they were the best person for the job, but naturally Kathy and Chloe joining us has bought diversification to a team that had inadvertently become male-dominated,” said White Digital’s MD Doug Dinwiddie.
Kathy has joined the team as strategy manager to support on the company’s key accounts, providing a high-quality digital marketing experience, while Chloe is marketing manager whose role is to raise the profile of the company across the North-East region before White Digital set their sights further afield.
“It’s been amazing to see these ladies come into the business and their roles with such enthusiasm and drive,” commented Doug.
“Chloe has already begun to revolutionise the way we interact with the wider community – a creative force and skillset that we were lacking as a team, while Kathy has brought a level of strategic thinking with a fastidiousness that we didn’t have before.
“Both ladies have quickly become integral parts of the senior management team, helping us critically think about our own processes, procedures, image and values.
“Having two fresh new perspectives has given us the ability to reflect more on what has allowed us to get this far and what will help us move forward in the months and years to come.”
The team at White Digital certainly have a lot to look forward to over the coming year.
“We’ve just moved into a new office which is going to become home to some of the North-East’s best networking and hospitality events,” said Doug.
“We are also looking to expand our service offering and grow our team even further.
“At the start of 2021, Zoe Gibson joined us as a junior account manager and we look forward to seeing who else is going to become an integral part of the White Digital team in the future.”
