Leading marketing and public relations agency DTW has strengthened its team with the appointment of two new specialists.
The award-winning agency, which is based in the Tees region, has welcomed Lauren Old as a public relations, engagement and public affairs strategist, and Tim Parker as an animation and illustration creative.
The new appointments mark a busy period for DTW, which has secured several new clients, as well as new projects with existing clients, both in the UK and internationally.
Lauren, from Peterlee in County Durham, brings seven years’ public relations experience from the travel, retail, hospitality and finance sectors, and has an MA in public relations from the University of Sunderland.
Tim, from Hull, has a BA (Hons) degree in Film and TV Production from Northumbria University and has been completing freelance animation projects for studios in Newcastle and Leeds.
Managing Director Chris Taylor welcomed Tim and Lauren to the team.
“Like many businesses, when Covid hit last year we weren’t really sure how 2020 would unfold, but we worked hard to meet the challenges and the team has delivered incredibly well working from home,” he said.
“We work with some excellent organisations as clients, who are negotiating their way through the pandemic well, and we’re extremely pleased to be working with some exciting new clients this year, too.
“We are delighted to have Lauren and Tim on board. They both bring great skills and experience to DTW, so I know they will be excellent additions to our talented team.”
DTW delivers marketing and public relations campaigns across both the public and private sectors, specialising in professional associations and regulatory bodies, local government, infrastructure, road-user charging, energy, the environment, and education.
