Date and venue confirmed for fourth Tees Businesswomen Awards

Pinchinthorpe Hall

The fourth annual Tees Businesswomen Awards will take place at Hardwick Hall’s Grand Marquee on Monday, September 27 – with sponsorship opportunities now available.

The prestigious awards are being organised by Tees Business in association with Headline Sponsors Northern Skills Group, the apprenticeship and training arm of Middlesbrough College.

After a year of Covid restrictions, which saw the third instalment of the awards held virtually in 2020, the Tees Businesswomen Awards will again celebrate the region’s female high achievers.

PD Ports have already secured sponsorship of the Inspiring Others category, won last year by Annalice Argyle of charity TRAC UK, while again sponsors of the Lifelong Inspiration gong will be Faithful+Gould – an award won by Teesside University’s Professor Jane Turner OBE in 2020.

And Stockton-based Punch Robson Solicitors will be sponsors of the Business of the Year category – won last year by Wander Films.

At present, all other categories are available to sponsor, though last year’s category sponsors are being given first option.

Entries and nominations will open in the near future and will be announced on the Tees Business website and social media channels.

Alongside the headline sponsorship, there are 10 categories to sponsor, giving businesses publicity in the lead up to the event, during the ceremony and within the coverage and post-awards celebrations.

Sponsors will also be provided with the opportunity to get involved with the judging process including choosing the three finalists in their category.

Tees Business executive editor Martin Walker – pictured above (left) with fellow editor Dave Allan and Jane Turner OBE at the 2019 event – said: “Last year’s virtual event was a huge success, but we can’t wait to welcome people back to a real, live event.

“The Tees Businesswomen Awards has grown to become a centrepiece of the Tees region’s calendar, growing year on year, and 2021 promises to be our biggest yet.

“We hope local businesses will join us and associate their organisation with these important awards that have done much to change the profile of businesswomen in our region.”
