Ahead of this Friday’s entry and nomination deadline, one of the sponsors of the Tees Businesswomen Awards has urged the region’s female business leaders and female-led businesses to show the world how they excel in business.
Being held once again in association with Northern Skills Group, the apprenticeship and training arm of Middlesbrough College, this is the fourth annual awards, with the glittering awards ceremony set to place at Hardwick Hall on September 27.
For Middlesbrough-based Steel Benders UK, led by managing director Tania Cooper, sponsoring the Breaking the Mould category at this year’s awards is the perfect way to celebrate the very best of the Tees region’s women.
“We wanted the opportunity to support, recognise and celebrate Teesside women’s tenacity, skill and success in an environment not typically female-centric,” explained Tania.
“The Businesswomen Awards most definitely raise the profile of our outstanding women and provide an ongoing vehicle to showcase women in business in Teesside.
“Steels Benders UK are thrilled to be involved as sponsors of the Breaking the Mould. category. We recognise that it’s a great way the raise our profile and awareness of the company in our region, but it’s also an opportunity to spread a feel-good factor amongst our staff and to show our support for Teesside and the wider region.”
Businesses and individuals are encouraged to either enter the awards or nominate deserving businesswomen for any of the five individual categories by 5pm this Friday, July 23, with shortlists being announced from August 9.
