As they approach their third year, the Tees Tech Awards are already a key driver and barometer for the region’s digital sector, believe the bosses of a leading Teesside IT firm.
Cornerstone Business Solutions backed the Tees Tech Awards for the last two years and have agreed to sponsor the Tech Ambassador category at the 2022 event.
Managing director Chris Petty said backing the awards was a “no-brainer” for a company that sees itself as part of the sector.
“In many ways Cornerstone is a tech company but we also pride ourselves in supporting a sector that’s thriving across the region,” he said.
“Everyone knows we’re always up for a celebration at Cornerstone and the first two years of the awards left no-one in any doubt just how much there is to celebrate in our digital sector.”
Fellow director Chris Bibby said: “The awards have given an extra spotlight and boost to some unsung business superstars of our region.
“It’s fascinating to see how fast some of these businesses are growing both locally and globally.
“The Tech Ambassador is a great award for us as it shines a light on the individuals behind this thriving sector. We are looking forward to seeing the entries and nominations.”
Resolution director Dave Allan, pictured with Cornerstone‘s directors, welcomed their support, commenting: “We are grateful for Cornerstone’s ongoing support across the board and look forward to working with them again as they help give out the digital accolades.”
The region’s thriving digital sector will be celebrated when the Tees Tech Awards, organised by Tees Business in association with DigitalCity and Middlesbrough Digital, are held at Hardwick Hall Hotel on April 28.
The awards recognise and celebrate the organisations and individuals thriving within the Tees region’s fast-growing digital sector, together with the local companies driving their business through digital transformation.
