Unique judging system will create democratic Tech Award winners

The inaugural Tees Tech Awards will recognise and celebrate the organisations and
individuals thriving within the Tees region’s fast-growing digital sector together with the local
companies driving their business through digital transformation

    • There is no charge for entries/nominations for the Tees Tech Awards.
    • Any company or individual can be nominated/entered for a maximum of three categories.
    • Deadline for entries to the inaugural Tees Tech Awards is midnight on Monday, March 9 2020.
    • The shortlist and winners in each category will be decided by a panel comprising
      representatives of the category sponsor and four other category sponsors. The judges’
      decision is final.
    • A shortlist of three in each category will be announced on Friday, March 27.
    • Please note that the inaugural Tees Tech Awards will take place on the evening of April 23
      2020. All those entering or being nominated must be available to attend the event.
    • Tickets for the event can be purchased for £75 + vat or £750 + vat per table of 10.

Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool, Wynyard, Redcar & Cleveland, East Cleveland,
Stokesley and Darlington)

Digital Company of the Year – sponsored by DigitalCity & Middlesbrough Digital

This category will recognise the Tees Valley’s outstanding digital company, especially since the start of 2019. We are looking for an organisation that has excelled in digital – that has an incredible story to tell – of ambition, innovation, progress and success – with the facts and figures to back it up. All digitally-influenced Tees Valley companies can enter this category.

Small Digital Business of the Year – sponsored by Jacksons Law Firm

This category will recognise the Tees Valley’s most impressive small digital business since the start of 2019. We are looking for a small digital organisation that is showing signs that it has the ambition and talent to become a beacon for the digital sector across the region and beyond. Please note: This category is only open to Tees Valley firms with no more than 10 staff.

The winner of this award will have excelled with its innovation – in terms of ideas, products, services and successes. We will be looking for evidence and examples of real innovation within the digital sector.
