The first-ever Tees Businesswoman of the Year will be a female who has inspired others with her outstanding leadership, performance and results over the past 12 months  She will be an outstanding achiever, a shining beacon – the ultimate role model for the region’s businesswomen.

We’re looking for a woman who has inspired others – women and men – throughout their life. They might inspire via their own prominent role or because they have always gone out of their way to try to inspire and support others. We are looking for someone who is an inspiration to other businesswomen because of their sustained success over many years. They will have had and will still be enjoying an inspirational career.

We’re looking for someone who is relatively new to the world of business but who is already foraging a successful furrow. Ideally it will be someone who has arrived on the scene within the last 3 years. They might have set up their own small venture (with our without others) or they might be making a real impact within an SME or larger organisation.  Either way, they’ll be someone who already has much to shout about from their early successes.
